i really love my make up here, all golden and pink lipped. this is a gloss from the sephora birthday pack and just tons of mineralize skinfinish from mac in soft and gentle and the limited edition alexander mcqueen gold as an eye shadow.

i'm so excited kevin comes home tomorrow!! it's sad that there's no more port elgin cabin but i've missed having him around.

nyc fashion haul

what i spent my hard earn money on while in new york city, lol.
make sure you check out both videos. i forgot something and had to do a second bit.
(the quality might be a bit fuzzy still as i just uploaded these).
i won't be doing hauls for a while b/c i'm not planning any big shopping sprees but if you would like to see any other video blogs let me know... i'll probably be back with a haul around christmas.

new make up haul video! finally my make up collection is complete.
hope you like it. i separated it from my nyc clothing haul in case some readers don't like make up hauls. now you don't have to sit through something if you're not interested in it.

i did want to give a heads up to everyone about a great product currently for sale at american eagle outfitters. they're really impressing me right now with their selection, especially the intimates. these swiss dot tights are incredible. they cost 12-16$ depending on where you live and they really fit that balenciaga trend. i'm in love with the fact that they are fishnets not sheer stockings, it make them a bit more unique and durable. go get them!!!

more favourite byrdie bell looks. i love that she wears her favourite pieces over and over. the outfit with the green leather and the over the knee boots is the best, so gorgeous. but i also love the tiny pic of her in that vintage jean jacket from her video, all the rick owens looks, that leather jacket is a dream piece!, and the leopard dress, it's styled perfectly.

i can smell the sunlight on your skin

a little throwback to summer. i actually wore this at the end of september, but it turned cold very quickly after this. a love this colour combination, the white and navy mixed with the bright yellow. it's so fresh and nautical.

i know that i've been slacking on the posts lately, but i'm up in port elgin again and i have to go to the coffee shop to use the internet. add that to nyc exhaustion, working and finally buying true blood on dvd you can start to see why i haven't felt like blogging. i have literally 20 posts to put up over the next few days though so come back and check those out.

hey isn't that the girl from gossip girl?

i wasn't going to post while in nyc, but i had to share the most incredible day of "oh my god" sightings.

it started with dree hemingway at intermix, not as tall as i expected but prettier wearing harem pants and carrying chanel,

then taylor momsen at topshop. she was wearing knock off chloe susans, ripped jeans, plaid and enough eyeliner to stock a mac. still, she looked very pretty and so t a l l.

finally the day capped off with kate lanphear in brooklyn. the elle goddess was rocking her fav. studded marc jacobs bag (seen above), converse and that bob, so tiny....

the long sleeved/mini hem shape, the looseness, the incredible and colourful beach print. h&m gets it so right sometimes. this dress calls for simple but powerful accessories, enter my beautiful claw necklace from the stylish wanderer and my ysl baby. top it off with my current favourite nail polish, mod about you from opi. one of my favourite looks.

interview magazine - kristen stewart

interview magazine is featuring no other then my girl kristen stewart on the cover of their new issue. the best thing is that the shoot is a departure from her usual teeny bopper or romping in the grass with her co-stars fare. it's an edgier, sexier and definitely more grown up kristen. i love the leopard and lace touches. she's kind of reminding me of blogging icon karla, from karla's closet in some of these too.
