the last of the nashville posts, day 11 - finally getting past the tourist trap of pigeon forge and gatlinburg (there is literally a museum for everything, an outlet for everything and about 50 mini golf courses off one two lane road, traffic nightmare) we made it into the great smokey mountain national park. we did a couple of hikes, saw some amazing autumn colours and even straddled the tennessee/north carolina line. you could spend a month explore the huge park, but we just had one perfect day, i'll never forget those hazy blue rolling hills.

day 6 and 7 of the nashville adventure. super warm for the end of october, thank god i bought these shorts online or i would have melted. monday i spent the day roaming around the city, sipping coffee by the water under the watchful eye of the "batman" building and eating the world's largest sandwich. that muffaletta was lunch and dinner - for two people and was followed up with the world's largest soda while watching the footloose remake at the movies, lordy.
tuesday was full of vintage shopping in east nashville, goodbuy girls is such a great find. i bought so many great pieces and it's in my top 3 for best vintage stores ever. then mmmmmmm tacos at satco. love. especially when you get free fish tacos, score and finally we ended the night at the grand ole opry getting serenaded by little big town and keith urban. perfect.
