nashville day 8 - fido in hillsboro village is the best coffee/sandwich shop in nashville. on thursday we went back for another breakfast, had to have that mcfido sammie, so good. then headed to franklin to hit cool springs mall. we picked the perfect day to be inside too because it rained the whole time. one of the things i noticed about nashville is the malls are always empty, seriously where is everyone? malls are packed in toronto on a friday at 2pm, weird. oh, and on a outfit note i was wearing my "kurt cobain" sweater, it makes me so happy.

nashville day 7 - i grew up in awe of scarlett o'hara and adoring gone with the wind so when i heard you could visit belle meade, a plantation house that was the heart of one of america's premier thoroughbred farms, i knew i had to check it out. i wore my brand new ash wedge sneakers, which i am in love with, highly recommended. after the tour, kevin and i had the best meal at sunset grill - cheddar cheese grits and an iceberg wedge salad, followed by a dessert trio of southern coconut cake, creme brule, and jack daniels pecan pie. seriously decadent. finished off the day with a walk at radnor lake and an always essential trader joe's run.
