i couldn't resist.

holts got two marc swallow bags in.

the tiny pouchette and the sasha.

i talked about how much i loved both, but in person the baby of the two took my heart.

i picked the faded blue leather version even though i was very tempted by the black.

i love all the cute details, the paisley lining, the hidden deep pocket that runs the depth of the bag and the extra long cross body strap with it's tiny buckle.

the sasha was pretty, but it was a little large and more of a messenger style. 

in fact it would make a great computer/school bag and it has tons of pockets. 

unfortunatley, it was also quite heavy. 

i think if i end up getting a second bag from the collection i'll get the sookie in dusty brown or the blue.

there's also the smaller version of the sasha, called natasha that's coming out for resort.

when it comes to designer shoes, my heart always belongs to chloe.

owning and affording them has eluded me but they have always stood out as the shoes i aspired to have.

there have been so many great styles but nothing compares to the shoes that came out for fall 06. i would die if i was able to get my hand on a pair. if any of my lovely readers happen upon any of the below in a size 9/39 please let me know. i love the lace ups,the buckles, the wooden platforms and the vintage look of them.

a little heads up. the marc by marc jacobs swallow bags have arrived for pre-order at bloomingdales.com.
unfortunatley, they do not ship to canada so i can't get my hands on one just yet. other wise i'd be having a tough time trying to decide between the sasha and the pouchette. i love the niagra colour! hopefully, they'll show up on a canada friendly site or at holts soon.

unrelated note*** i just finished watching the remake of the last house on the left and it was so good. more of a thriller than a horror movie, it was scary, intense and had great performances. i loved sara paxton in it and monica potter and tony goldwyn who played her parents. it was so gory/disturbing at one point (kitchen sink scene)  i was physically shaking and felt sick. i don't think i've liked a wes craven movie so much since scream (one of my favourite films, "hello sydney"). i'm glad i didn't watch it at the extremely remote lakeside cottage i was at two weeks ago, i'd be too scared to sleep tonight.

trying to save for new york is not going well.

i just bought two new necklaces.

i've been jonesing for a new rackk and ruin piece, but i was too late on the stuff i'd been eying and it all sold out. molly, make more stuff! disappointed i began searching etsy and i came across this seller, another feather. she makes beautiful folky pieces, and i feel in love for this antler/copper necklace. 

speaking of molly from rackk and ruin, i also feel in love with the talon necklace she's been wearing lately.  the stylish wanderer is selling them through her site. i couldn't help myself when she said she only had a few left, i had to snatch one up.
