warm me up

it's snowing... again. i'm sorry to say it's still the weather for oversized cashmere and mits and toques. i think i'm going to have to bring the parka to nyc after all, how will i end up on sartorialist in that? it has to be the worst winter in at least 5 years. good thing i found this cashmere sweater/dress at a thrift store to keep me warm. i bought it even though it had a mock neck, eww because i buy cashmere no matter what the colour or shape as you can always wear it to bed. i read about a celebrity who always wore oversized cashmere sweaters to bed and i just thought that was so glamorous. i think it was chloe sevigny but i could be wrong. i wore this to go vintage shopping and to the art store to get some canvases. if the paintings work out i'll post them but i'm not too experienced with acrylics so it might end up being a huge mess. vintage 69 was having a sale and i picked up two cute belts, another bustier that's opaque this time so i can wear it peeking out if a top and a pair of super baggy worn in jeans. it may be a little tlc late nineties style but i think baggy jeans with a fitted top and a hint of midriff is very sexy, so they'll be cute for summer.
