you all know i love luella and her fall 08 collection is greatly inspiring me these days. this little checked skirt is a piece that instantly brought that collection to mind and therefore i had to buy it. they of course didn't have my size, it's always the case. it was either buy it too big and alter it or too small and risk it being shorter then i'd like, i went for the smaller because it's less work even though i had to wait two days until it was out of the window display to get it. i decided i'd just have to wear it with tights to mask the shortness and it would look better. i styled it thinking w.w.b.d. (what would blair do) in the last photo with the schoolish blazer and bow but i wore it with the black jacket. p.s. i love my frogsters.
