nashville day 7 - i grew up in awe of scarlett o'hara and adoring gone with the wind so when i heard you could visit belle meade, a plantation house that was the heart of one of america's premier thoroughbred farms, i knew i had to check it out. i wore my brand new ash wedge sneakers, which i am in love with, highly recommended. after the tour, kevin and i had the best meal at sunset grill - cheddar cheese grits and an iceberg wedge salad, followed by a dessert trio of southern coconut cake, creme brule, and jack daniels pecan pie. seriously decadent. finished off the day with a walk at radnor lake and an always essential trader joe's run.
