after a day of crazy deals and crazy cleaning i've got about a million photos to post. i'll start with this outfit shot from the weekend. it's a reference to the prairie with a lacy white blouse and a native beaded belt, a little dr.quinn and sully action. i really love this shirt. it's one of those vintage/thrift finds that you buy but don't really know if you'll end up wearing much and then it ends up being something you reach for time and time again. my cropped floral denim jacket is another example of this. it's just so fresh, pulled together and flattering. i always have a hard time photographing back details of my clothing so i asked kevin to take a picture of the beaded detail on the back of my belt. he of course wanted to know why i was needing a photo of my ass to post for you all. this is why i still have to take all my own photos. at least he's a great boyfriend in lots of other ways. speaking of kevin, today he had to play in ottawa so he shaved off his mustache, hallelujah. i know he's going to grow it back as soon as possible but it's so nice to see his pretty face again. i spent the night doing laundry, hemming things and altering a thrifted sonia rykiel blazer while trying not to watch 90210. i did catch a bit of it and there were some cute outfits on the show, especially on silver, but i don't think it will be replacing my beloved gossip girl anytime soon.
