a monumental moment occurred last week. i purchased my first chanel item. granted it is vintage and i got it on ebay but it arrived in it's original box and it is definitely real. i bought a little quilted brown suede purse with a 24" chain strap and gold embossed chanel pull. it is so sweet and i'm so pleased with it. the chain has a great weight to it, there are quilted c's on the bottom of it and the inside leather is so soft. i can only imagine what a brand new bag would be like. the box is sitting on my dresser and i can't wait to wear the bag for the first time. it's definitely a going out bag because it's small and would fit a phone, keys, lipgloss and cash but i guess i could always travel light and wear it whenever i wanted to feel french. luv it.
