the southwest roadtrip 2011 - utah, nevada, arizona

April 9th 2011, i set out for my southwest adventure part deux. i headed back to southern utah to volunteer at best friends animal sanctuary, see the natural parks in utah, as well as the big daddy, the grand canyon in arizona and spend a day or so in las vegas. these are some shots of day one. basically we just arrived in vegas, grabbed our rental car and headed on the road, not stopping until st.george for some starbucks and target shopping. we then headed on to kanab, utah where best friends is located. it was a bit chilly and there was lots of snow on the ground up in the mountains, so beautiful. I wore my trusty h&m army coat and my new spy flynn glasses. so excited.
